Most people who take the PADI Rescue Diver course say it’s the most fun, challenging, and rewarding program they’ve ever signed up for. You’ll become more confident in your skills as a diver knowing that you can help others if needed. You’ll also become a better buddy because the problem-solving skills you develop will become second nature.

The PADI Rescue Diver program focuses on learning how to prevent and manage problems both in the water and at the surface. The course calls for lots of energy and concentration but still allows for plenty of fun and lots of laughter in between scenarios – plus the waters of Chumphon Marine Park provide an excellent training ground.

To enrol on the PADI Rescue Diver Diver course, you’ll need to be Advanced Open Water Diver certified already - either through PADI or another equivalent agency. If you plan to take the PADI Divemaster Course and become a professional diver, you’ll need your Rescue Diver certification before you begin.

Please note that:

●  Participants must be at least 12 years old

●  Participants need to have Emergency First Response (EFR) training within the past 24

months.

●  You will be required to fill in a PADI medical form before any in-water activities. Some

pre-existing conditions require a medical sign off from a dive physician. If in doubt, please contact us with any medical questions prior to booking.

You’ll already have learned some basic self-rescue and accident prevention skills in previous courses, but the PADI Rescue Diver course will take these to the next level. At the end of your training, you’ll be prepared with the knowledge you need to avoid emergencies before they occur and the skills and confidence to manage an actual emergency should one arise. We provide a complete set of basic SCUBA gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), dive gauges, and a tank. However, we’ll also introduce you to some pieces of specialised equipment for rescue divers and teach you how to use them.

You can get started today by registering for PADI eLearning online. Your PADI Rescue Diver Crew-Pak contains everything you need, including videos, course materials, and certification credit.
